The Weiss Center For Child Rescue & Protection Technology
Driving 21st Century Solutions To Protect Children
We live in an age when science and technology are rapidly advancing toward solutions to our greatest human problems. Yet, while billions of dollars are devoted to solve famine, poverty and disease, our first and most sacred priority as a species–the protection of children–has been left behind.
The good news is that the potential of technology to advance the protection of children grows more promising each day. New child rescue technologies give us unprecedented power to detect and stop child abuse and exploitation on an unprecedented scale.
New child protection technologies offer great leaps forward in transparency and accountability in the child protection and justice systems, providing hope for transforming and improving how we protect children.
Technology combined with the will to lift up humanity is one of the most powerful and transformative forces on earth. The Weiss Center for Child Rescue and Protection Technology is dedicated to making the advancement of technology for child protection a 21st century priority.
H.E.R.O. Child-Rescue Corps
In 2013-14, the Weiss Center is focusing on its first major initiative, the H.E.R.O.* Child-Rescue Corps. The H.E.R.O. Corps will recruit, train and place 200 wounded warriors with host law enforcement agencies across the U.S. over a five-year period. The Weiss Center is handling the training and high-tech support for this new generation of warriors.
