Deputy Chief Mike McNamara
Director, Licensed for Life Mike McNamara is a Commander with the Park Forest Police Department and headed all children sexual and abuse cases for his department. A 27 year veteran with the Park Forest Police, McNamara is also the Director and co-founder, with Cheryl Baczek, of the not-for-profit organization, Licensed For Life. LFL sends officers into high schools, jails, community youth organizations and churches to teach young drivers about the dangers of drinking and driving. In the past five years, LFL speakers have taught over 4300 classes in over 250 Illinois and Indiana schools. Commander McNamara has personally given over 2000 classes.
