Artists and musicians come through again!  Punk band Against Me! headlined a PROTECT benefit concert on Saturday, July 24th that was a huge success.  Held at the Market Street Pub in Gainesville, Florida, the event raised $1,500 in one night for PROTECT.  (The Civic Media Center, a nonprofit library in Gainesville was also a beneficiary of the concert).  PROTECT thanks Against Me! and their partners the Grabbass Charlestons, Whiskey & Co. and the Tim Version.  Special thanks also to a tireless, key PROTECT supporter, Vanessa Burt of Fat Wreck Chords, who once again is making things happen behind the scenes.  You don't have to look far around this website to see what this generous help will accomplish for children.
