The punk rock world is buzzing over a soon to be released PROTECT benefit CD from the incredible Fat Wreck Chords record label. This compilation is called PROTECT: A Benefit for the National Association to PROTECT Children. The CD features 26 of the best bands in punk rock, with 15 previously unreleased songs! Contributors include Against Me!, Matt Skiba, NOFX, Coalesce, Anti-Flag and MxPx.
Fat Wreck has been a huge supporter of PROTECT since our beginning, helping spread the word throughout the punk music world that there's a war going on to protect children. The project is the brainchild of Fat Wreck Chords publicist Vanessa Burt and Verbicide magazine publisher Jackson Ellis. Legendary punk rocker and Fat Wreck owner Fat Mike backed up his crew and made the CD possible.
Every band on this compilation has donated their songs, including all royalties. The proceeds will go straight to PROTECT!
