Thank you for visiting PROTECT, the mainstream, nonpartisan, grassroots lobby for protecting children.  We are Americans from all walks of life who agree on one fundamental belief: protecting children from harm is our highest responsibility.

PROTECT fights for two basic values that most Americans—liberal or conservative—share.  First is a strong resolve to protect children: we want tough, serious action against those who commit crimes against children.  Second is a generous commitment to helping young victims: we believe that when a child has been hurt by abuse or neglect, we should do everything in our power to help them.  Abused kids should be first in line for help.
