PROTECT's Director of Legislative Affairs, Camille Cooper, joined outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, Congressman Chaka Fattah, Appropriations Chairman David Obey and PROTECT ACT Champion Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz this week to honor CJS Subcommittee Chairman Alan Mollohan (D-WV) who retires this term.

Congressman Hoyer said it best when he described Mollohan as "a man with conviction, dedication and class."  Anyone who has ever interacted with Congressman Mollohan knows this to be true. Congressman Mollohan, who championed funding for the PROTECT ACT, will be a tremendous loss not only to his constituents, but to the nation.

At PROTECT, we dare not say goodbye or even farewell, instead we leave it at "See you soon Chairman." Hopefully as soon as 2012.
