Photographic evidence may stop revolving door Print E-mail

A convicted sexual predator who was allowed to continue his crimes thanks to numerous slaps on the wrist may finally get locked up because he left photographic evidence behind. According to The Day of New London, Connecticut, Christopher Blanks, 37, was allowed to babysit two young children in 2007. He is now accused of sexually assaulting one of them, an eight-year old girl, who "begged the mother not to notify police." The paper reports that "the mother finally went to police after Blank's girlfriend told her she had discovered pictures of Blanks sexually assaulting the girl on their computer."

Blanks was already a "registered" sex offender who had been twice charged or convicted of failure to update his address.
