Sunday's New York Times takes a look at California's parole supervision of sex offenders. PROTECT already took a hard look. We warned Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger about the costs of not taking sex offender parole seriously.

Here again is PROTECT's "Citizen's Majority Report to the California High-Risk Sex Offender Task Force" -- and PROTECT's warnings about California's reckless rationing of correctional dollars, allowing known sexual predators like Phillip Garrido to go without serious parole supervision.
