In the aftermath of the Sandra Cantu murder in Tracy, California, PROTECT called for action against 60 identified child pornography traffickers in the small city. We're thrilled to report, action was taken!

"Approximately 150 law enforcement officers from 26 federal, state, and local agencies participated in [a] two day operation which was organized and coordinated by the Sacramento FBI Cyber Crimes Task Force," says a news release from the FBI Sacramento Office.

"A total of 196 contacts and attempted contacts were made, 169 searches were conducted, 28 arrests were made for a variety of crimes including child exploitation related crimes"

According to the Lodi News, 48 of the locations searched were in Tracy.

"Some of the Tracy searches were a result of extensive investigations after the disappearance and homicide of 8-year-old Sandra Cantu," reports the paper.

The searches conducted in Tracy would be the equivalent of approximately 3,000 in a city the size of Atlanta.
