Another 58 counts of rape and sexual abuse have been added to the original 471 counts against pediatrician Earl Bradley.

Victims in the original counts involved one boy and 102 girls. Some victims were only six months old.

Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden said, “These charges are the next step forward in our continued efforts to hold Bradley accountable for his actions. We are working just as hard to ensure the victims and their families have everything they need.”

The doctor is accused of crimes against 24 young girls in the added 58 counts for unlawful sexual contact, continuous sexual abuse of a child, sexual exploitation, and rape of patients as far back as 1999.  The suspect faces life in prison without parole.

For weeks investigators had poured over video evidence of unspeakably brutal attacks on children, all made while the parents waited in a separate room.  Reports say more than 13 hours of video tapes, computers, hard drives, and thousands of patient files had to be analyzed. Investigators said the suspect was seen on the tapes trying to stop a child from screaming as the child tried to get away.  The suspect is six feet and 225 pounds.

ABC News reports that colleagues of Bradley, amongst themselves, referred to him as a pedophile.  His sister and office manager said she reported to police several complaints from patients, as well also reporting to the medical society.  She says she was ignored.  ABC says officials deny receiving any complaints. Milford police are reported to have attempted to file a complaint with the medical board in 2005 but were told the complaint had to come from the parent or victim directly.

The investigation is ongoing, in fear that there may be even more victims.
