A registered sex offender who served just two months in Minnesota for possession of child pornography earlier this year has been arrested and charged with sexual assault in Idaho.

The Spokane, Washington Spokesman-Review reports that 34-year old Scott J. Bailey is charged with using a chemical-soaked rag to incapacitate a young girl before assaulting her. He was convicted in February of 2006 in Hennepin County, Minnesota and was out on supervised probation. Police say Bailey volunteered information about the crime after being ordered to submit to a lie detector test.
