Minnesota incest loophole highlighted Print E-mail
Monday, 08 June 2009 00:22
Minnesota law gives special preference to criminals who rape their own children, and now the state's largest newspaper is reporting on the results.

"...Lighter sentences are given more often to defendants abusing children in their own families or households than to those who abuse outside their families," reports the Star Tribune, "citing an "analysis of nearly 1,500 child sex abuse cases."

PROTECT will have more on the Star Tribune story and Minnesota's foul incest loophole soon. If you haven't read the story, you can find it  here .
