If you've heard of the Southern Poverty Law Center, it's probably because of attorney Morris Dees and the Center's work against racist hate groups. But the Center has a long history fighting for kids too.

Now SPLC has filed a lawsuit against the State of Mississippi "to stop the horrendous physical and sexual abuse of teenage girls at the Columbia Training School, the state's prison for girls." You can read more about it at the Center's website, here.
