A Carson City, Nevada District Attorney says he's done sparing court personnel from having to view child abuse video, after Judge Todd Russell showed he just doesn't get it.

Russell apparently was more influenced by a "psychological assessment" of 25 year-old Brian Ross Fenn than he was the facts of his crimes.

The Judge sentenced Fenn to probation, shocking prosecutors. "In these videos, children were screaming."

According to the Nevada Appeal, "Investigators confiscated computer equipment at [Fenn's] home that contained hundreds of images and videos of children as young as 1 year-old being violated by adults or forced into sex with other children..."

Said Russell: "I'm reluctant to do this because I think child pornography affects all the young children in the world... I think that the people that are involved in child pornography really deserve all the punishment in the world, but in this particular case I'm going to grant you probation."

District Attorney Neil Rombardo says his old policy was "to not introduce child pornography into evidence to avoid traumatizing court staff."

Now Rombardo has a new policy.
