A New Jersey resident, known as the "Whaleman" for his lectures on whales at schools in five states, has been convicted for possessing child pornography and growing marijuana at home.

According to the Camden Courier-Post, Stuart Goldman, 63, faces five years in prison for the 87 pot plants... and 18 months for the 1,000 images of child sexual abuse. Assistant Camden County Prosecutor Brian Mulholland said he "will not oppose Goldman's application for an intense probation program that could cut his state prison term to several months." Mulholland works for Camden County prosecutor Joshua Ottenberg.
