ND: Child pornography bill hearing Tuesday 1-30 Print E-mail
Sunday, 28 January 2007 19:00

North Dakota is one of just six remaining states with misdemeanor penalties on the books for possession of child pornography. That could finally change in 2007.

House Bill 1357 is scheduled to be heard tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. by the North Dakota House Judiciary Committee. The bill would raise penalties from a misdemeanor to a felony. It was introduced by Representatives Dahl, Heller and Owens and Senators Freborg, Hacker and Lee.
