PA support for tough laws, harsh penalties and more funding Print E-mail

A recent opinion editorial in The Delaware County Daily Times probably summarizes what many people are thinking these days when it comes to child safety -- "America is quickly going to hell in a handbag."  The author appears to have reached the limit of hearing about adults preying on children in unimaginable ways and at such a high rate of frequency. While the author correctly applauds all the hard work conducted by the local Internet Crimes Against Children task force (ICAC), the drawn conclusion is that thorough investigation and arrests are not enough anymore:

"Lawmakers need to enact tougher laws, judges need to dole out tough penalties and more tax money needs to be funneled to law enforcement organizations to rid this country of sexual predators who prey on youngsters."
