PROTECT Requests a Dedicated Officer in Virginia Print E-mail

With nearly 150 registered sex offenders in and around Charlottesville, Camille Cooper, PROTECT's Legislative Director, has asked the Board of Supervisors for a full-time dedicated police officer to fight crimes against children. Currently, Albemarle County, VA has none.

A released and registered sex offender, living close to Charlottesville, was also interviewed for this article.
