PROTECT was in Richmond recently with Virginia State Police top brass and The Department of Criminal Justice Services to discuss the $500,000 in annual funding PROTECT created for grants to local law enforcement agencies to participate in child exploitation investigations with Virginia's two Internet Crimes Against Children Task Forces.
PROTECT's vision with "Alicia's Law" to make child rescue a priority at every local police and sheriff's department in every corner of the state is well on its way.
