West Virginia prioritizes combating Internet crimes against children Print E-mail

PROTECT is headed to Louisville, Kentucky next week to launch our 50 state Alicia's Law initiative at The National Conference on State Legislatures' annual legislative summit. All of PROTECT's hard work in Virginia and Tennessee is about to pay off for America's abused children, as we stand poised to bring child rescue to every corner of the U.S.

First up will likely be West Virginia. PROTECT began discussions with the West Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force this spring. Because Governor Manchin has already proven he's willing to make child rescue a priority, West Virginia appears to be ready, willing and able bring the necessary reforms and support to the state legislature that law enforcement needs.

Many thanks to the West Virginia State Police, who have made combating Internet crimes against children a priority.
